Intro...

If there is one thing we can all relate to it’s our dreams and the hope that one day they will become the reality.

My blog started as “the Art of Travel”, but when I suddenly came back from China I thought it would be good to change the name and call it “Everyday is a Saturday”, as I was having a great time skiing that winter, and my bouldering habit was being kept alive by destroying my skin in the gym around five times a week.

During the season that still keeps going here in Finland I have had around +40 days on my skis, I did some surfing for the first time in over four years on my quick trip to Bali, and also trained quite a bit during the winter months with those awfully plastic holds we all love.

But now I have come to the conclusion that I want to change the name again, or I don’t know if I want to change it, it’s more that my mind has evolved from the thought that everyday is a Saturday to a lot of dreams I have had considering my life and the hope that hangs around them that one day my life will be what I have wanted for a long time.

A lot has changed since my last update in January. I’ve been to the other side of the globe, spent two weeks in a paradise. I have also moved apartments here in Helsinki cutting my expenses in half, making my trip to work much longer but at the same time my distance to the library has been cut down to under a kilometre. Why do I bring up the library? Since I have finished university in 2008, I have tried to read at least one book in two weeks, I have tried to find new areas that inspire me, and now that I live next to a building full of books I am quite confident that I will read more and more.

I’m going to try to make some time up between training, working, and my social life to study some new interesting subjects, I’m also going to try to get out with my camera more often, it has been hidden away for too long, and finally I’m going to try to figure out which of my dreams should I try to pursue and how…
